Nursery (Monet Class)
Our Nursery provides education for children between 3 and 4 years of age during term time only.
In England, all three and four year olds are entitled to up to 15 hours of funded early education and childcare a week for up to 38 weeks a year. This is to give children the opportunity to take part in planned learning activities, and help prepare them for school through the Early Learning Goals set out in the government's Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. This is a universal offer and is available to all children regardless of their family circumstances.
We aim to offer children in Nursery at least three terms of Nursery education prior to entry into Reception classes of a mainstream school.
Children are normally able to join the Nursery Class in the term following their third birthday.
In addition to entry into the Nursery in September, children who have turned 3 between 1st September and 31st December may be offered a place in the Nursery from the following January. Children who turn 3 between January and 31st March may be offered a place in Nursery from the Summer Term (April).
We may also be able to offer a fee-paying place for children who have turned 3 and wish to start before the term after their third birthday, e.g. A child who turns 3 between 1st September and 31st December would be eligible to start from the following January, but may start earlier as a fee-paying place.

How to Apply
Generally you should register your child for a Nursery place well in advance of when they are eligible to start. We take applications from when children are born. Parents wishing their child to attend the Nursery must complete an application form clearly indicating their preferred option. Every effort is made to accommodate their wishes.
To obtain an application form, please contact the School Office either by phone on 0208 672 3062 or by email on email@example.com. The school will endeavour to inform parents by letter of the outcome of their application at least one term before admission.
